And They Are Clapping

And They Are Clapping travels from the sea to the home, finding its way by seals and signs. The poems are at once intimate and observational. Home, family and the body bring love and hope, plus the strange and quiet legacies of domestic violence and loss. Objects fill with meaning. This collection holds light and shade, humour and longing, and handles a dedication to technique, craft and form with playfulness.
